About three weeks ago I moved to San Diego, CA. New apartment, new life, new job, new city, and new vibe. I love it so far! Along with those changes, it also comes a change in what it is available, I am going to eat (and post), recipes, and life style of course. California is the state with the highest number of farmer markets, and they grow anything you can imagine. You name it, they have it! They call it Sunny San Diego for a reason. I did not lose time and last week I took advantage of this fantastic opportunity; I bought fresh fruit and veggies. Today I give you a quick, fresh, and healthy option for your Summer breakfast.
This is what you need:
High fiber cereal (or oats if you prefer)
Non fat yogurt
Organic strawberries (or any other type of berry)
In a bowl, simply mix all the ingredients. Yes, it is that simple! You can of course substitute the strawberries with whatever berry you prefer, use chocolate powder instead of the cinnamon, or even cardamom powder which is a fantastic substitute for sugar and has a refreshing taste.
